WOMEN'S NATIONAL RESERVE.
CITY BRANCH. A beautiful assortment of delicacies was sent, to the Hospital for the twen-ty-four soldiers at present there by the members of the city branch of the W.N.R. on Saturday. July 14. Fruit, new-laid eggs, ootted meat, merit pies, mince pies. sausage rolls, delicious jellies and lemon cheesecakes, nut bread and various kinds of cake, shortbread, tinned fruit, jam. marmalade, chutney and cream; in fact everything calculated to please, a sick man. The following members sent generous contributions:—Mrs Russel Wilford, Mrs Sloman, Miss Cowlishaw, Mrs Manning, Mrs George Gould. Mrs Lonsdale, Miss Petrio, Mrs Steeds, Mrs M'Queen. Miss Hawkins, Mrs Alan Hopkins Mrs Eric Harper. Miss R, Koss Miss Knight, 'Miss Cotterill, Mrs MacphersonrMrs Williams, Mrs Theo. Barker. Miss Hope Wood kindly motored the good things to the Hospital.
