PROPOSAL TO PROLONG LIFE OF PARLIAMENT. Australian and N.Z. Cabla Association. (Received July 17, ■ 2.15 p.m.) OTTAWA, July 16. Tn Canadian House of Commons, Sir Robert Borden introduced a resolution asking the Imperial Parliament to extend tho life of the Canadian Parliament to October, 1918. The Liberals requested a postponement to enable thorn to decide tho party's attitude, and Sir Robert Borj den consented to this course. •
