All reference to Isaac and Rebecca as a, model couple will bo omitted, if the Joint Commission on the Revision of the Prayer-book of the Protestant Episcopal Church of America has its way. Tho reason is because the Bible records that when Jsaac and Rebecca were in tho land of Gerar he told the men of that placo that Rebecca was his sister, fearing to say she was his wife, '"beacuso she was fair to look upon," and Isaac feared the men would kill him to get her. The Joint Commission, it is understood, feels that because Isaac evaded tho truth about his wife he is not the best example of a perfect husband tg hold up to newly married couples.
