AN OVERDUE VESSEL .
[From Our Corbespon-dent.] DUNEDIN. July 16. Some anxiety is being felt in shipping circles concerning the whereabouts of on© of the Union Company's large cargo steamers. The vessel left a New Zealand port some time ago. She msip duo at her destination over a fortnight ago. and although efforts havo been made to get into touch with the steamer by wireless, no tidings have been received as to her possible whereabout?. Other steamers of the Union Company 1 ;, fleet hare been instructed by wireless to keep a sharp look-out for her. The steamer (the name nf which cannot/ be mentioned) may possibly have met with an accident to her machinery.
