The .announcement was mad© in *hf> following communication ; "llie • PommcEscho Tagespost' published hi 0 - October 12, an article entitled • The Destruction of the Bremen.' Alter the publication of this article the paper received a. warning for violating the censorship regulations. H,has now been established that, the* nows. of 'the destruction of the BremW tv us incorrect. The article is not a reprint of a telegram sent to the editorial office, but a summary from a letter, and therefore the editors bear the responsibility. Moreover, the informant was no official person. The article caused excitement among the population; therefore the publication of the- 'Pommerscue Tagespost' is forbidden tv n [ 1 virthor notice. The editorial ojfjee must at once publish this letter without remarks."
