THE NEW AGREEMENT. [PKR PKJMS Aseocutiok.J WELLINGTON, March 14. At a special meeting of Uk- Wellington branch of the Seamen's Union, the new agreement with the shipowners was explained and adopted. [increase of JL'3 per monthIt was stated that Mr Y-oung, the general secretary, lvuind visit AuekLui'd and explain the conditions to the seamen there and afterwards attend meetings at Lvttelton, Dunedin and Napier. At all ports steps would be taken to get. the shipping companies which have nob yet signed the new agreement to sign "their concurrence, to be hied in Court.
