The London correspondent of tile " New York Times " states that the response British security holders aro making to Mr M'Kenna's appeal for collateral aid should be hishlv satisfactory. Much more than £300,000,000 is deposited in the Treasury, and it is calculated that the- total specified' securities in tho hands of British investors are three billions. Dealers are assuring ample collateral for further loans.
