HUN CLOTHING CARDS.
PROOF OF NEED TO BUY BEFORE ISSUE,
New clothing regulations for all Germany were published recently.. Excepting corsets, hats, caps, veils, braces and suspenders, aud, the moat expensive men's suitings—i.e., " London style"—no moro clothing may be sold until retail traders have furnished the C4overnment with a complete inventory of their stocks. One-fifth of the steels: in hand may then be sold up to August 1; afterwards no' clothes on the reserved list may be sold without the production of a clothing card issued by the municipality or by. local authorities appointed by the Imperial Clothing Office. It is specially stated that no. card •will bo issued except to persons who can produce absolute proof of their need of new clothes, _ . t
