HUNS' LATEST CRIME.
TKE SHOOTING OF CAPTAIN FRYATT. TRIED TO RAH SUBMARINE Tbe High Commissioner reports:— LONDON, July 23 (8.40 p.m.) A wireless message' received to-day says that Captain Fryatt, of the British steamer Brussels, -who was captured recently haa been shot for a franc-tireur crime against an armed German force. The sentence was passed on the fact that although Captain Fryatt did not belong to an armed sea force he tried to ram the German submarine U3 near the Naas lightship. Captain Fryatt, the first officer, and the. first engineer received gold watches from the British Admiralty, and were mentioned in the House of commons, At the trial Captain Fryatt adinitted that he was following tie instructions of the Admiralty.
