RAILWAYS FOR MUNITIONS
ON SOMME FRONT. Australian and N.Z. Cable Association (Received July 29, 11.10 a.m.) PARIS, July 23. A correspondent who visited the Somme front states that the British and French troops have constructed a thousand kilometres of railways, with over a hundred stations, for the transport Of munitions, and hundreds of miles of roads for motors conveying troops.
