SITUATION QUIET.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received July 29, l.ot) p.m.) LONDON, July 28. General Lake : reports that the situation is quiet and unchanged, except that two gunboats were fired on from both banks of the Euphrates in tho neighbourhood of Khidr. Our gunboats replied, inflicting several casualties.
