During a Prize Court case resulting from detention of a cargo of cotton, a letter from a firm iu Gothenburg (Sweden) was read, which advised American shippers how to evade the British blockade. Tho firm suggested that captains should go well north of tho Slietlands and come down along the Norwegian coast where there wa3 little risk of captureThe letter, added: "We directed several boats thus which were not interfered with."
