I>r von Bethmann-Hollweg is coffimumeafing- with the Socialists' with a view to merging German trade unions into a single centralised union. It is stated that the Chancellor's aim is to acquire control of this union. Germaji Socialist newspapers, including " Vorwaerts," are publishing appeals to the workers not to listen to strike revolution propaganda.
