PERMITS FOR LADIES.
Mr S. J. Collett, who represents the Internal Affairs Department here, states that ho has been advised from Wellington that as far as the s-s. Wimmera is concerned no permits for ladies will be required. The Department is still awaiting advice from Australia as regards the necessity for ladies having permits for other steamers.
