On Wednesday evening there was an excellent attendance of members at the St Albans Rechabite Tent meeting. A motion of sympathy in the death of. their father was ordered to he sent to Brothers J. W. and C. 0. "Willis. The district secretary advised that a referendum would be taken on the question of postponing the District Council meeting to .1018. One proposition for membership was received and a. brother received a clearance. P.C.R. Brother W. R. Kxselbourn. down on final leave, received a hearty send-off-C.R. Brother Watson proposed the* health of the guest, and the secretary presented him with a fountain pen on behalf of the brethren. in responding, Brother F.ssel bourn referred to the distinct advantages pns-sossod by an abstainer in meeting the difficulties incidental to camp lii'c. « rrrtrrrrrrr: •„
