At one o'clock this afternoon a fir©* / roomed cottage in Peraki Street, Kai* • apoi, owned and occupied by James Coffey, was destroyed by five. .Mr Coffey and his family were absent m - Christchurch at the time. The contents were insured for £l4{? ■ in the Victoria' Office. *
