THE HAGUE. April 25. With regard to the Dutch war profits tax, the l-iauclelsblar! " learns tiu-.t it •will not only be levied on increases 'in incomes during 1915, but also on increases during the war months of 1914. Tho tax will remain in force till cancelled. so that eventually it will also ha levied on the extra profits of 1916, etc. It will ba for the taxpayer to prove that the increase in his income is not the result of the war. An in-i crease in incomo up to 11.1000 is free. Orcr that amount thy percentage increases by 3 per cent on each fl.'lOOO. beginning with 5 per cent and ending with 25 per cent, wjiich latter would be duo on increases of f1.20,000. Above that amount tho porcontago remains stationary.
