Tho Queen of Montenegro, to -whom tho King had been betrothed sine© infancy, was barely thirteen years of age when she was married, and seemed verv delicate. Her father was a Montenegrin landowner. Sho is the mother of six daughters and three sons .several of whom have made brilliant marriages. One of King Nicholas's daughters is Quoen Helena, of Italy, rind tho King is said to have laughingly referred to hor as " Montenegro s tuost valuable export,." Another daughter is the wife of Prince Joseph of The marriage of Prince Danilo has somewhat, nearly allied the Montenegrin and the iOtglish Royal families, tho Crown Process being Queen Mary's cousin once removed.
