Christ's College teams niade their first, appearance on Saturday last. The B team that met Lyttclton Scouts gave promise of being a winning team, but they lacked tho combination expected of them. College had tho advantage both iu size and weight, but the forwards never used their weight to advantage. In th-e loose College were tho better and their pace was a groat asset, but they failed to hold the Scouts' forwards, who put more vim into their work.
