As to many, at all events, of these articles, probably most, of us would he :i,i'ad if we could make them of use to the nation. We can do so, thanks to the patriotic ingenuity of Lady Maud ami her friends.

Articles can be .sent to' 12. Crescent Uoad, Wimbledon, and sold, and the. proceeds used for our armies. In sixmonths the founders raised £IBCO. and this has .bought three ambulances. Then Lady Maud's co-workers were asked to help to raise 1000 guineas for a motor disinfeetm - . the War Office approving, "Within a few weeks the money was ol)taine<3. and the helpers TTre now turning their energies to n- new direction.
