SOLDIERS'GROUP A meeting of-ladv lwlpors for the gala and military, sports to be held next Saturday at the Trotting Grounds, Addington, was held last night at>. tho C.D.C. Rooms. Mr Nat Woods presided over an attendance of nearly a hundred ladies.. Arrangements w.t'rc completed for the decorated gocart ;and prams, fancy costume competition for children, fancy costume parade for ladies and gentlemen, pa rack- of girl queens, children's refreshment stall, fairy well, and a. host of attractions for the children and Indi-Kj. Tt is expected that at least 300 lady helpers will he available for the big show on Saturday, wliich promises to he highly .successful. ; SOLDIERS' GIRL QUEEN CONTEST. There is very keen competition i.n the" Girl Queen Contest, in connection with the Oala and Military Sports at Addi'iigton next Saturday. .
