At the Rangiora "stock sale to-day there was an entry of 2124 fat sheep, including 1315 rams and 770 ewes. Good quality sheep sold well,(but for lighter sorts there was a decline. The top price of 25s lOd wa-s realised for a fino line of ewes from Mr W. Stalker. The range of prices was:—Ewes: Extra prime 25s lOd, prime 20s to 21s 9d, medium 18s 3d to 19s 3d, light-weights 15s 7d to 17s lOd: wethers 22s Bd. Lambs: Extra prime '21s 9d to 22s 6d, prime 18s lid to 22s lid, lighter 16s to 18s Bd. Stores sold at ruling values. -
