These vrere forthcoming in a marked degree in the hour of need. .General Birdwood's and the corps' commanders' arrangements could not have been surpassed for skill, competence and courage. • As the result of rain and a blizzard on November 21, there were 200 deaths from exposure, and 10,000 sick evacuated positions, chiefly, at Suvla Bay. Lieutenant-General Mon.ro will shortly furnish a Distinguished Conduct list. The dispatch covers tire Serbian expedition to the withdrawal to Salonika, and shows that the Tenth Division from Surla Bay was sent to support the French, but when the French effort to link up with the Serbians failed', a ■withdrawal was ordered in accordance with previous arrangsmen'is made by the Allied Governments. •j • x
