QUESTION OF TAXATION. Bj- Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright. (Received April 10, 9.30 a.m.) LONDOX, March 9. Matchmakers complain that foreign stocks already landed are treated as free of taxation, while those lying iu warehouses for British manufacturer are impounded for excise. It is officially stated that the Excise Board has decided to allow a period of grace before collecting the tax, and stocks in hand at April G will not be taxed.
