THE MISSING CLERK.
NO FRESH NEWS. The clerk employed by the City Council. against whom a warrant for arrest was issued this week, has not been found, and his whereabouts are unknown. The fidelity bond taken out by the City Council is for £IOOO, and covers the" sum short-banked, for which the clerk is alleged to be responsible, oncl which amounts, to £940.
