Miss Clara Kimball Youn& porhapa tho boat all-round fiotross in tlia "movies," and the winner of the recent "beauty" competition in America, is the star in the World Film sensational drama, "The Deep Purple," which will be shown at Queen's Theatre all next week. A notable cast, including Milton Sills, assisted Miss Young in the production of this picture. Miss Young plays the stellar part of Doris Moore, the innocent decoy, around whom the startling action of the drama is thrown. As the heroine she traverses "the whole gamut of human emotions. An unsophisticated country girl, she suddenly finds herself flung into a seething turmoil of Now York underworld life. She is the guileless tool of an unscrupulous band of villains, to .whom cheating, deception and robbery come natural. The girl's beauty, simplicity, loyalty and devotion are well simulated by Miss Young, who works hard in many trying situations. There will be a strong supporting programme.
