THIS YEAR'S CAMPS.

REGIMENTAL TRAINING. DATES NOT FIXED. Territorial camps are to be. held this year, but in (anterbury, at all events, they will simply Iks regimental camps, which -will moan a number of comparatively small camps in place of the usual big Territorial encampments. The Defence .authorities say that no dates havo been fixed yet. The camp of the Ist (Canterbury) ."Regiment will be held lYom March 3 to March 12. The locality has not beeu decided on yet, but. nos&ibly it will bo adjacent to Christehurch to enable the work to bo seen by tho general public.

DAYLIGHT PARADES. CADETS AND FIRST REGIMENT. Thero will be a half-day parade of tho Senior Cadets next Saturday, falling in at King Edward Barracks at 2.30 p.m. The companies ordered to attend are Christehurch Cadots' Buglo Band, and numbers 78. 79, (56, 10, 17, ! 83, 80. 71, 67, 76, 92,'90, 72, 96 and 87. The work to be carried out will be extended order drill, visual training and judging distance and company drill. The following whole-day parades of six hours each have been fixed for tho Ist Henriment:— Saturday, January 22—Fall in at 2.30 p.m. Saturday, February s—Fall in at 2.30 p.m. Saturday, February 19—Fall in at' 2.30 p.m." Haversack rations will be carried by all ranks The work will include company drill, company in attack, and a small tactical scheme. All the work I will bo carried out in Hagley Park.
