LARGE LAUNDRY BURNED.
DAMAGE ESTIMATED AT £3500. [Per Press Association.] WANCrANUI, December 23. The Wanganui Steam Laundry Combrick building was destroyed by fire this morning. The machinery and plant, were ruined. Tt is estimated that the loss is between £3OOO and £3-500 above the insurance, which totalled £29")0, ol' which .£'looo is on the building. Articles belonging to $49 soldiers from the Rangiotu Camp, including 2000 blankets, were burned.
