The High Commissioner reports from London yesterday that the War Office announces that General Monro succeeds Sir Douglas Haip; in command of the First Army, General Sir Archibald Murray succeeds General Monro, and Lieutenant-Genera I Sir William Robertson becomes Chief of the Imperial Staff.
