At a Cubinei meeting Mr Hoknari ; stated ihf.i a. report bad been received to the effect that three types of machine , guns hud been made at, WaLsh Island, ■ one iiivcutud at the State works, an- ; other by f.omebody outside, and the I third by &. British designer, of which ten repliwii were in course of construction. Aeroplane bidding was proceedj ing .satisfactorily, but a slight hitch | had occurred in regard to shell making. ! He had no doubt that the State tender ' would eventually be accepted.
