A meeting of representatives; of the various Presbyterian Churches of the eifcv and suburbs was held last evening to consider what*stops should bo taken in connection with tho coming carnival. It was unanimously decided to ioin issuo and to, make ai combined Pi-esbyteriaa effort. Those present formed themj*?lv«s. into an executive committoe. Mr W- <ioss /"Knox Church) was elected chairman, -Mr G. A. Alexander (St Paul's) as secretary and -ir George Callender (St Paul's) as general treasurer. Mr W. Cross was elected as representative on the carnival executive committee.
