QUEEN'S THEATRE. The. programme at the Queen's Theatre yesterday consisted of dramatic and humorous pieces, a scejQ.ic item, and the " Gazette," in which the war was prominent. The principal drama was entitled "The Little Home in the WeSiti." The title ivas taken from the name of si home in which a young couple lived in the Wild West. They were happy enough until a strange set of circumstances entered into their lives and brought boundless turmoil where previously there had been nothing but love, and peace. The principal feature of the plot was the use of the war as a means of introducing exc ting 'incidonts. The husband left his home under an unfortunate misapprehension, joined the .British forces, was wounded and invalided, and finally returned to hi.> home, where he found his wife, and where explanations soon cleared up the misunderstandings and ushered in a reign of happiness once more. The usual moving-picture villain came into the plots, am! there were revolver phots, a murder, a. wrongful surest, and a fire, in which the villain was burned to death. The two humorous pieces were entitled "Home-breaking Hounds" and "Through Edith's .Looking-glass, 1 ' and the scenic piece represented the great beauties of Sweden in the winter.
