[Ffjoii Our Cobresponuent. ] WELLINGTON, October 3. r l he Mission will end during the currout week and a. few interesting matters must bo dealt with during tiio final rush, Most important is the proposed amendment of the Commercial' Trusts Act. This ••neasuro has only once been put into operation, because its scopes is limited, and there really js no person or authority whoso ,p-ar-ticular business, it is to watch the commercial .situation and decide when' to set the law in motion. The National Cabinet proposes to get statutory authority for setting up a, board, empowered with the duty of administration _of the Act, which will have its original provisions extended. The board will have power to call on merchants and others to show cause whether or not the prices charged for commodities are fair and justifiable. Another question to be handled during the session's dying hours is that of education district boundaries. The Commission's report on the matter will b» laid on the table and -v resolution must be passed before it takes effect.
