[FROM Ol'R WELLINGTON, October 3. The Minister of Defence lia« ascertained that it is possible to send letters and parcels to New Zealanders who aro prisoner, s oi" war in Constantinople.. Replying to several (cablegrams tho High Commissioner lias telegraphed as follows: •'Parcels for prisoners of war in Turkey can be sent by pest, provided they are not over 111b. They should, he addressed to Central Post Office, Constantinople, and should be marked ' Prisoner of War,' also letters can be sent. No arrangement* have been nmdo for transmission of money to Turkey.
