REGISTRATION OF RECRUITS. APPEAL TO EMPLOYERS. To All Employers of Mem between Twenty and Forty Years of Age:— 1. Look forward to at least another twelve months of war, -■ Help the Defence Department to secure 4000 men for Reinforcements in November and 4000 every months following November. This is a. business obligation on New Zealand's part, and a solemn promise made to the Imperial Government. 3. I beg each of you to arrange thatf medically lit unmarried men in your employment may be free to register for service. J. AI.LTvX. Minister of Defence. In compliance with the desire of the Minister of Defence we are pleased to give prominence to the foregoing, the iirst of a series of direct appeals to be made to the public with the object of .stimulating recruiting for the war.
