Recently a crowd watching tho recapture of a chimpanzee wildly scattered when the animal made a forward movement, and a woman in the crowd dropped dead. A jury has now awarded the deceased's husband £450 damages against the owners of tho chimpanzee, on the ground that her death was the result of negligence and want of care in keeping the, animal.
