Tho Citizens' Defence Corps' recruiting bureau i« still anxious to h«ar from those who haro work suitable for men who have enlifeted aixl are marking time before going into camp. Hough gardening ana work of that kind is most urgently needed. It has been suggested that it will be neoe-sary for the stimulation of recruiting to get the men on to tho pay roll earlier, especially in the caso of men out of work, ond also to meet tho cost of {ittending to teeth and so on, an. expense that the men have to boar at present. ?
