I j QUEEN'S THEATRE, j Ah entertaining sot of pictures was | screened at tlie Queen's Theatre yes- ! terday afternoon, when the change of programme was made. _ The principal film, "Tho Frame Up,"' was a sensational drama of life in the "underworld of a big American city. The picture showed in graphic detail the methods of three "crooks," two c>f whom were in lore with the same woman. The film was capably acted and well produced, although it was not of <an elevating nature. It showed how one "crook" was able to drag his rival into trouble by means of a "frame up." "He Wouldn r t Stay Down " was a Keystone comedy with Ford Stirling in the leading role. "Pure Gold" was a pathetic drama., showing how a good woman tried to help an isolated miner. The miner misunderstood her at first, but the story had a. happy conclusion. A comedy, "The Wily Widow," and an (excellent edition of tho "Topical i Budget " completed the programme, i which will be repeated to-day. I G RAND THEATRE. | " Our Boys," a comedy written by H. j J.
