Lloyd' presented the " soldier members with suitable tokens J of e.steem. A programme of songs, ' etc., was successfully gone through, " those taking part being Misses Whitler, ft. Brown and Huggins, Mesdames M'Jarrovp, Scott ami Baxter, Master® Denys and Cliff Brunt, Messrs F. J. Pen fold, C. Bills, W. W. Jones, W. J. Horwell and Allan, During tho sinking of a patriotic song by Mrs 1 Baxter a collection was taken up on ! behalf of the Veterans' Fund, and realised nearly £2. A presentation of a patriotic honours board to the led go by Brother John Flockliart was received with acclamation. The accompanists were Mrs F. J. Penfoid i Mrs Bax- '■ ter and Mr W. 11. Bottel. The social • opened with the National Anthem and closed with " Aukl Lang Syne."
