TODAY'S BATCHES. At Lancaster Park, the Canterbury representatives played a picked Senior eleven chosen from the other teams. In the first spell the representative team notched three goals, Misses G. Rarr, P. Pearce and M. Martin netting;. In tho second half the Senior eleven played a much better game, and the representatives only added one more goal, Miss P. Pearce scoring just on time. Mr G. Wykee was referee. JUNIOR REPRESENTATIVES 4, SENIOR PICKED TEAM 3. i Tho Junior representative team played a practice match at Lancaster Fark against a team .selected from Senior players. The Juniors started off with a jrood rush. Miss W Rossi ter took the. bflil into the circle, but just missed with her shot. Keeping up the pressure, tho same player took the ball down the left and centred well to her sister, who scored. The Seniors now took a. hand in attack. M as F. Lowe put in a fine effort and. netted. With the scores, even the play became fast and excting. The Junior representatives hare the better of the play, and adSed two goals to their total, both scored by Miss V. Ro'siter. At h'llf-time the Juniors were leading by three goals to one. In the | second spell the Seniors improved their ' play considerably. Miss F. Jxiwe put in another fine effort and l sewed her r-econd goal. The Juniors soon replied. Miss H. Thompson found the net from a scramble in the circle. Just on the call of time the swept up the field with a pr?tty passing rush, wh'ch ended in Miss R. Elmers tva-inp a fine ;;oal. Tho game then ended with the Juniors leading by four goals to three. Mr W. H. Down was referee. CURTAIN-RAISER. As a. curtain-raiser to the ladies' match, a game was payed between two team 1 ; of Thursday and Saturday '' Oldtimers." * The mid-week eleven only mustered seven men. .and the gam© w.is robbed of interest. The Saturday team eventually won by three goa-H, shot by H. Samuels, Anderson and Rix. to one, scored by Smith. Mr 11. Throp was referee.

The Sydenham Ramblers (ladies) played a tea re from the " Lyttoiton Tiii'ies'' Company. The game resulted in a win for Ramblers by two goals to one, I. Armstrong and' B. Wood scoring for the former. R. Cunmig- | haul scored for the "Times." The ''Times" team had the best of the game in the second spell.
