AUSTRIANS LOSE 300,000. By Telegraph—Prees Association—Copyright. (Received April 10, 10 a.m.) ROME, April 9. The " Mossagercr says that the Austrians have lost three hundred thousand men In the Carpihians, of whom one third wore taken prisoners. A. whole division were armed with old pattern German rifles, some using black powder. Apparently Austrian factories are unable to turn out smokeless powder.
