NEW ZEALAND TROOPS. MAY ATTACK THE TURKS. WHISPERS FROM EGYPT. (Special to the '' Star.") MASTEBTOX, March 9. Tn the course of a. letter to his relatives in Masterton. a Taiha-pe trooper writes from Zeitun as follows :~- '• There is some doubt as t-o what, is going to ho done with the Now Zenlanders. Tt js freely whispered that w will not go Tory far from Egypt; perhaps operate against the Turks further north. There are 350,000 troops here, and rum out has it that, a large .number are sure to he taken away' to make war against the Turks. At a. dinner given here the other night one of the principal officers stated that he did not care what the authorities did with the Australians. English Territorials.
