CUSTOMS CASES.
M'KINNON IN COURT. What are kuown as the Cbristehurch Customs fraud oases, were revived at the Magistrate's Court morning, when John Alexander M'Kinuon was charged on the information of the police, with stealing tho sum of £44 2s, and on the information of William John Wratt, Inspector of Customs, with stealing the sums of £2(3 12s, £B6 Gs, £69, and £l4O, making a total ci £316.
Mr Raymond, K.C., appeared for tho Department, and accused was represented by Mr Hunter. Mr Raymond applied for an adjournment till Tuesday, owinc to one of 'be most important witnesses being -called away on account/ of a death in the family. The adjournment was granted.
