AMUSEMENTS.
- QUEEN'S THEATRE. . There will be a change of programme at the Queen's Theatre to-day. Among the new pictures to be shown will be a drama in two parts entitled " The Hpuse of Darkness," "Topical Budget" (containing the latest pictures of the European war), "The Hawkesbury River" (scenic), "Jane, Justice of the Peace" (comedy) and. "The Chicken Inspector ' (comedy). . GRAND THEATRE. The Grand Theatre will show to-day a new programme of moving pictures, headed by a film entitled '"From the Lion's Jaws," which is said to be excellent in its treatment of animal features. The supporting' films comprise two dramas, "The Girl Behind the Barrier" and "In the Days of His Youth"; two comedies, "Spanish Omelette" and "A Rest Cure"; and the latest war news, including views of the enthusiastic reception accorded General French in Paris.
