(Pkr Phbss Association.] DUNEDIN, "October 21. .The annual report of the directors ;f the Drapery and General Importing Company states that the net profit for -he year was £24,2.0, which with fi11,339 brought forward, gives a total jf £35,589 to credit of profit and loss. On May 1 an interim dividend at the .ate of 6 per cent per annum was paid in preference shares, absorbing £3750. The directors recommend a dividend at she rate of 6 per cent per annum on preference shares, absorbing £3750, and a dividend at the rate of 7 per cent on ordinary shares, absorbing £8145, the addition to the reserve fund of £5874, bringing it up to £50,000, the balance to bo carried forward, less a bonus of 2-} per cent to holders of ordinary shares on amount of purchases, totalling £14,069. i ' ii
