INQUEST ON VICTIMS.

[Per Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, October 24. : The inquest was oponod to-day on tho bodies found on the north beach. The only evidence of identification was that of' Edward Green, stevedore, who had no doubt that one of tho bodies was that of Frederick Johnson, an A.B. of tho Kairaki. Tho body was dressed in dungaree clothing. Witness stated that Johnson was tho only member of tho crew who wore dungarees coming in and going out of port. Tito remains were buried ijx tho Grey cemetery to-day.
