INTER-CLUB COMPETITIONS. The junior inter-club- competitions wore continued to-day in perfect weather. • The following were the results: ST ALBANS v. ADDINGTON. Playing on the St Albans courts the homo team secured a. win by 45 games to 43. Tka scores were as follows, St Albang players being mentioned first in each case: Singles—E. Henley bent E. P. Cooper, 9-1; (L. Meredith-Kaye lost to J. Murmings, 6-9; G. Fisher lost to A. Dcrbidge, 6-9; P. M. Baines lost to F. W. Cooper, 8-9. Doubles—L. Meredith-Kayo and G. Fisher beat A. Derbidge and F. \V. Cooper, 9-6; H. Henley and P. M. Baines lost to E. P. Cooper <ind J. Munnings, 7-9. * Totals—St Albans, 45; Addington, 43. CANTERBURY COLLEGE v. AVONSLDE. Playing at Avonsicle, the home team defeated Canterbury College by 50 to 34. The scores were as follow, Avonside being mentioned first in each case:—
Singles—A. B. Rowlands beat H. C. M'Carthy, 9-3; "IV. Sherris lost to D. F. Ba'uchop, 5-9; R. Dixon, boat J. H. C. Schroder, 9-8; R. -Malcolm beat E. D. Beid, 9-4, Doubles—A. B. Rowlands and W. Sherris beat H. C. M'Carthy and D. F. Banchop, 9-5; R. Dixon and R. Malcolm beat J. 11. C. Schroder and E. D. Reid, 9-5.

The South Christchurch and Opawa. teams played . a match at South Christchurch/and the result was a fie. The scores wero as follow, Opawa players being mentioned first in each, case:
Singles—Garland beat Dickson, 9-6; O'Connell lost to Berry, 7-9; Harrnan lost to Hawkins, 7-9; Willis lost to Deavoll, 4-9. Doubles—Garland and Harman beat ftickson arid Berry, 9-7; O'Connell and Willis beat Hawkins and Deavoll, 9-5.
