There are 41,312 germs in a teaspoonful of milk two hours aftor milking, according t-o bacteriological examinations recently made by tho health authorities of Birmingham. The experts state that these germs become multiplied to 1,803,800 after twentyfour hours, and at' the end of fortyeight hours'* they reach tho startling total of 28,790,000.
