WORX AT CAUiFIELD. (Received October 13, 3 p.m.) j MELBOURNE, October 13. At Caul/ield, Anna Carlovna ran nine | furlongs, the last three in 39?ec. Aleconner, assisted by Wallachra, ran eleven furlongs in 2min 24^sec. Bofence beat Delcasso over live furlongs on the sand in lmin 4se,e. Aurifer wont six Oirlongs on the grass in lmin 16Jsec. Canvynno ran five furlongs easily in lmin B£sec. The secretary of tho Metropolitan Trotting Club to-day received a cablegram from Australia nominating seven horses—not including Mr M. Edwards's —for twenty-nine different events at tho club's November meeting.
