, LARS JACOBSEN. • % *Another old identity of Christ-church passed away early this morning in tho person of Mr Lars Jacobsen, of Sydenham. The late Mr Jacobsen arrived r in Lvttelton from Norway about fifty i:years ago, and conducted a business in t.ihat town for some time. ; For thirtyfive years he has resided in Sydenham, and for ten years has been in business ,as a shoemaker. The late Mr Jacobi Ben was of a retiring disposition, and was highly respected by all who knew, him. fie leaves a widow, five sons and ■ n daughter (Mrs H. Killner, of Sydenham).
